After this weekend's Lotus Festival - without lotus, of course - the park will be fenced off next Monday (July 11) for two years for the lake rehabilitation project.
At least those of us at the Lago Vista will still have a view of something, but I'll miss my walks in the park, as I'm sure many of the local residents will, too.
